Obviously you expect it to be loud in the main theatre for a show or by the pool for a fitness class however it seemed to go far beyond that - the entrance to the Windjammer having a bluetooth speaker plugged in on the floor and playing music from staff members phone at or the pianist in the Schooner Bar being unusually loud that we left and went to the Cask & Clipper where we could still hear him!We also enjoyed The Effectors in the main theatre (I think it was in previews while we were on board) which, although incredibly cheesy with a predictable storyline, was made up for by the special effects and technology used throughout the show - if we hadn’t left it until the last day we would definitely have gone to experience it again!

We have been on 31 cruises on different cruise lines. First time on Royal Caribbean. First the good. The ship is beautiful (Wonder of the Seas) that’s it. The rest of the cruise experience was subpar at best. The food was average in all areas. The shows were lacking and you have to pay for most. The spa is small and not worth the expense. The private island was extremely expensive if you want to

Background InformationThis was my 1st Royal Caribbean cruise and my husband's 2nd (32nd overall for me, 33rd overall for my husband) - he'd previously sailed Freedom of the Seas in 2022. Friends of ours wanted us to sail with them to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary, and they had previously sailed with RC. Originally, we looked at booking Icon of the Seas but the insane inaugural

Bottom Line – if you are over 50 or don’t enjoy ear blasting, chest thumping music, Royal Caribbean is not the cruise line for you. Try Viking or Oceania.RCI app: this is arguably the worst thing on the cruise. RCI insists you use the app for almost everything, but it works poorly when it works at all. Android or Apple (we had some of each in our group) makes no difference. App will fail

Not the Royal experience one would expect. Customer service across the ship was subpar. Seemed as if crew members were just punching their time cards and not very hospitable. Some seemed annoyed and as one casino crew member said “I’m at the end of my 9 month contract and I’m burnt out.” That was the vibe everywhere and in talking with other guests, most felt that from the staff. St. Thomas was a

We booked our first cruise with our daughter (3 1/2) on the Wonder of the Seas. We watched a lot of videos on YouTube and were full of joy. We actually booked the completely carefree package. That means all drinks included for me and my wife (about $1000) and WIFI, because of course I had to do some work and at least wanted to answer my email. The parking we also booked was problem-free. The

I was extremely disappointed with my trip last week with Wonder of the seas. As my first “ City on the Sea” , my first huge cruise ship. To be that huge, that expensive it’s disappointing that it doesn’t honor Solo travellers in regards to pricing. It also dreadfully lacks in allergy free cuisine and food choices even though I made very clear arrangements a YEAR in advance. I went home with very

The ship itself and check in was great and we got the luggage right away. As for the room I had a balcony, and it was great on the port side. The shows were great every night and kept us busy with something to do. Intense, Voices, and 360 Ice skating were the best. The comedy show was ok the late-night comedy was better. As for the music Boleros was ok, but other ships had better bands by the

the great scam, in addition to charging a very high price, they diverted the itinerary to obtain million-dollar profits from San Juan, Puerto Rico and Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic to San Tomas and San Martin, a much cheaper route, about 600 dollars difference per cabin, the mistreatment was in many places on the ship but especially in the bars where the alcoholic drinks had very little

Avoid***Everything has dropped in quality since our cruise on the same ship, same itinerary in 2022. We later found out the trained staff was moved to Icon of the Seas, and Wonder has a new untrained staff. Same for all the bells , whistles, and budgets. It took over 45 minutes in a long line to get on the ship boarding at 12:00 pm, later on we found longer lines for elevators, bars,
